Ronald E. Laidley

Ronald E. Laidley passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 77. He was born September 30, 1944, in San Marcos, Texas to John M. and Dorothy (Mounce) Laidley.

Ronald was a United States Air Force veteran. He married Barbara Pruitt in San Marcos on March 28, 1970.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Kimberly Annette Webb, brother-in-law Willie Thomas, brother-in-law Bobby Pruitt and stepfather Pete Rudinger.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Pruitt Laidley, his son John Laidley and wife Candice, sisters Beverly Thomas and husband Billy, Merylene Thomas, and Pam Thomas and husband Roy, son-in-law Frank Webb, as well as six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation is Tuesday, October 26th, 6:00-8:00PM at Pennington Funeral Home in San Marcos. Graveside Service is Wednesday, October 27th, 1:00PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX 195, Killeen, Texas.
