Secundino Gallegos, was born July 1, 1935 in Reedville, TX to Feliciano and Maria Gallegos. Secundino was a man of few words, with a big heart, who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren dearly. He celebrated holidays and family gatherings with joy. He was a big fan of sports, especially The Houston Astros. Whom also enjoyed watching his grandchildren on the field. He was joined in holy matrimony with Elida Gallegos on October 5, 1958. In this union 8 children were born.

Secundino gained his angel wings on April 23, 2019. He is proceeded in death by: father Feliciano Gallegos, mother Maria Gallegos, son Christopher Gallegos, Brother Francisco Gallegos, sisters Maria Juarez and Dominga Guerrero, and great granddaughter Reanna Balles. He leaves behind to cherish his memories; Elida Gallegos, children; Feliciano and Aurelia Gallegos, Terri and Valentin Urrutia, David Gallegos and Gracie Campos, Gilbert and Anna Gallegos, Tony and Julie Gallegos, Patricia and Johnny Juarez, Sammy and Marisol Gallegos. Brothers; Pablo, Pasqual, Augustine, and Albert Gallegos. Sisters; Simona Falcon, Beatrice Tello, Janie Galvan, and Joyce Gallegos. Twenty-one grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren, and five great, great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos, Texas. A Rosary will be recited that evening at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at St. John’s Catholic Church in San Marcos, Texas. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.

The family would like to acknowledge Martha Mendoza, who was his caregiver and is now considered family.
