Susie Salinas

Susie Salinas, 75, a resident of Reedville, Texas, passed away November 16, 2019.  She was born September 21, 1944, in Reedville, Texas, to Jesus and Victoria Olvera Salinas.  Susie lived a wonderful life. She would always say “If tomorrow never comes I am grateful for today.” She shared the beauty of God by working in her yard.  On any given day you would see her out pruning, trimming, or mowing.  She loved nature and its beauty.  She was a very kind and giving person.  She helped so many people trying to steer them in the right direction.  Susie will forever be with us in spirit, beautiful memories, funny stories, great times and countless laughs.  She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

Susie is survived by sister Margie Martinez (Robert) of Maxwell, Texas, sisters-in-law Guadalupe of Redwood, Texas, and Dora of Idaho; brothers Frank Salinas (Yolanda) of Winters, Texas, Cleofas (Benita), Clemente (Eleanor), and Ignacio (Connie) Salinas of Idaho.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.  Susie is preceded in death by her parents, sister Nicolasa DeLaRosa, brothers Gonzalo Gonzales, Juan, Jesus Jr., Domingo, Leo, Victor, and Santos Salinas.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2019, from 6-9 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos. A Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. that evening in the Thomason Funeral Home Chapel.  The Funeral Procession will leave the Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019, for a 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.  For more information and to sign the online guest registry please visit Thomason Funeral Home's website.
