Victoria Rivera Miranda of San Marcos passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 85. She was born to Eduardo and Aurora Miranda in Caldwell County, Texas, on December 22, 1933.

Victoria is survived four sisters, Estela Miranda, Sulema Hernandez, Irene Hernandez and Maria Soyla Miranda; as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Eduardo Jr. and Teodoro, brother-in-law Amando Hernandez, and niece Sylvia Hernandez.

Catholic by faith, Victoria attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was known for her love of bingo and chance games.

Services were held Monday, August 26, 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 624 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, Texas, with burial at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers were David Tello, Pete Sierra, Daniel Villegas, Richard Miranda, Ted Miranda, Jr., and Fernando Miranda.
