No taxes fund abortions at Planned Parenthood

Editor,
Joseph Gerard, whose letter appeared in the November 11th Daily Record, will be pleased to know that no tax money Planned Parenthood receives is used for abortion services. Although Planned Parenthood does receive federal funds, none of that money can be used to terminate a pregnancy according to law.
The money is used to provide well woman care — physical examinations including listening to the heart, examining the breasts for lumps, pap smears and the like. If a woman seeks an abortion, she will have to find funding other than federal money.
