The Bobcats went undefeated in their road trip this weekend, taking out Louisiana and Louisiana-Monroe to extend their winning streak to five and move to the No. 1 seed in the Sun Belt.

Texas State began the trip with an 82-73 win over the Ragin’ Cajuns in Lafayette, La. Senior guard Mason Harrell led the team scoring 20 points. Harrell had just two in the first half and had five after the first 11:30 of the second half. The last 15 all came in the final 8:30 of the game. Harrell also had five assists, giving him 289 for his career and moving him up to ninth all-time in program history.

Senior guard Caleb Asberry added 16 points and five rebounds and fifth-year senior forward Isiah Small contributed another 15 points and seven boards.

The maroon and gold went on to defeat ULM on Saturday, 63-54. Fifth-year senior guard Shelby Adams tied his career high by leading the team with 17 points. Small posted 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals. Small is now up to 503 career rebounds and is the 21st Bobcat in program history to cross the 500-rebound threshold. Harrell finished the night with 12 points, seven boards, two assists and a steal.
