Murillo descendants gather for family, heritage

Five generations of the Murillo family came together on Saturday, April 15 to celebrate their connection to San Marcos and the birthday of their oldest relative, Eva Sanchez, who recently turned 85.

Ex is still a negative influence on man’s life

DEAR ABBY: My wife and I were married 21 years ago. Since then, she has admitted to cheating with 10 different men. Each time, I stayed with her, hoping she’d change. I finally left 3 1/2 years ago because I couldn’t take it anymore. Eaton emerges as top leader for Texas State

Despite being one of the several transfers that made the decision to come to San Marcos, Texas State cornerback Joshua Eaton has emerged as one of the vocal leaders for the Bobcats.

IRS-CI program informs students

The Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation is hiring. For recruitment purposes, it hosted an all-day simulation event to give accounting students at Texas State University a taste of what Special Agent and Public Information Officer Mark Wilson called “the life in a day” of a special agent, a condensed version of what the job would entail.
