AUSTIN — Family, friends and law enforcement officers honored the life of fallen San Marcos Police Department Officer Justin Putnam on Thursday.

A public memorial service was held to honor the life of fallen San Marcos Police Department officer Justin Putnam, and officers Justin Mueller and Franco Stewart.
