Gilbert Prado Perez “Beto” was called to his eternal resting home on July 17, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Perez, Sr., his brothers David Perez and Thomas Perez, Jr., sister Isabel Perez, his nephew Raymond Perez, Jr. (Nuno) and niece Angelina Perez. Gilbert is survived by his mother Anastacia Prado Perez, his siblings and inlaws as follows: Virginia Lopez (Gilbert, Sr.), Alicia Riojas (Jimmy), Raymond Perez, Frank Perez (Marty), Louis Perez and Isabel Sanchez (Raymond), Ruby Garza and Herminia Perez. In addition to having may nieces and nephews who he dearly loved and where he held a special place for each one of them.

Annalisa Robles

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Annalisa Robles, on July 31, 2020, age 52. Annalisa was born in Corpus Christi, TX to Ramiro and Maria Elena Robles on April 20, 1968. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1990, then obtained her Master’s degree of Education in Education and Administration in 1993. Annalisa was a 5th grade teacher at Cunningham Elementary School in Houston, TX in which she had been awarded Teacher of the Year for the 2019- 2020 school year. Annalisa dreamed of obtaining her Doctorate’s degree at Grand Canyon University. Education was her passion. She helped all her students in any way possible because she had a heart of gold. When there was a need she was quick to act and she listened attentively.

Larry G. Ross

Larry Gilson Ross, 73, of Wimberley, Texas, died on August 17, 2020. At this time, no service is planned. Wake the Dead hosts Abracadavar Market

As the summer draws to a close, many businesses in San Marcos are taking the tentative first steps toward re-opening. Some businesses and restaurants have opted to host outdoor seating and open-air markets in order to help spark the local economy while keeping patrons and vendors safe.
