COVID-19 spike continues with 241 new diagnoses

For the third consecutive day and fourth time in one week, Hays County reported its largest single-day increase in COVID-19 cases with 142 new diagnoses on Saturday.

KZSM — Thought for the community

Recently, KZSM.org has expanded the scope of our Monday and Friday noon News Specials to cover demonstrations, movements for police reform, and Black Lives matter. We talked with San Marcos City Council Member Mark Rockeymoore and Dr. Dwight Watson, author of “A Change Did Come: Racial, Social and Political Transformation of the Houston Police Department, 1930-1990,” and we continue to seek interviews with activists and experts.

Texas State wins top 10 team honors at National Collegiate Sales Competition

Nearly 140 college students from 70 universities competed for honors at the 21st Annual National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSC). Hosted by the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University March 27-30, 2020, the decision was made to conduct the first virtual competition, rather than cancel the annual competition due to travel restrictions.
