Bobcats open 2023-2024 season with dominant win over Arlington Baptist

Texas State opened up 2023-2024 on the right foot as the Bobcats defeated the Arlington Baptist Patriots, 90-48, in front of the home crowd faithful.

Alma mater looks back at LBJ's legacy

A former president and Texas State University student is a beloved topic at his alma mater. The school recently held a panel to discuss the presidency of the late Lyndon Baines Johnson and how it shaped the current culture of the United States of America.

Proposition 9 vote impacts teachers

For 28 years, Joe Ramirez taught social studies in Austin for students including President George W. Bush’s daughters, four-time Grammy award winning musician Gary Clark Jr. and former Gov. Rick Perry’s son. After retiring in 2012, he said he initially was able to live on his $2,200 a month check from the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.
