Texas State could not complete the sweep against Troy falling to the Trojans 4-3 in a 12 inning game.
Texas State has been working on making adjustments to their offense during spring practice due to additions on the coaching staff and new transfers. The Bobcats have also been working on the offensive line with the loss of two starters.

Texas State completed their third week of spring practice in preparation for the 2024 season.
One question that comes up for race organizers is the need for a lead bike. Some feel that if they put out direction arrows and have a person stand at critical turns that the need for a lead bike is not necessary. And in many cases this may work. Over the years I have seen a number of problems with both a lead bike and using only direction arrows. Runners tend to get into the spirit of the race and focus on running and are not bothered by distractions.

The San Marcos Track and Field team will send nine individual athletes and one relay team to the Area Track Meet following the completion of the District 27 Track Meet.
The No. 23 ranked Texas State Bobcats toppled the No. 21 Baylor Bears 6-1 in a showdown of Top 25 teams.
