KYLE — The Central Texas Food Bank served 1,434 families at a second special food distribution event in Kyle since the pandemic hit.
The Hays County Local Health Department reported 210 new COVID-19 cases, and reported that 5 individuals released from the hospital Thursday.

Hays County Epidemiologist Eric Schneider said the county is currently experiencing a second wave of virus cases as new COVID-19 diagnoses continue to climb.
The Hays County Local Health Department reported 145 new COVID-19 cases, and saw 8 additional recoveries Wednesday.
