BPSF to celebrate generosity with 11th Birthday Bash April 29 at Zelicks

Bobcat Pride Scholarship Fund will celebrate the generosity of its donors on Saturday, April 29 at Zelicks from 3 - 6 p.m. The event will feature live music by Zach Blue of the Ooey Gooeys, an art silent auction and giving three with a $1,500 matching gift and a short program at 4 p.m. highlighting donor impact accomplishments to the Jeremy O. Torres Emergency Stabilization Fund.

Senate passes bill to strengthen school active-shooter plans

The Texas Senate approved Wednesday a sweeping school safety bill in response to the Uvalde shooting nearly a year ago that aims to make sure that hundreds of Texas school districts without active-shooter plans get up to speed.
