Lady Rattlers take district opener in close win

It was opening night in 6A District-27 softball Tuesday as the San Marcos Lady Rattlers (4-9, 1-0) escaped with a 4-3 victory over the Schertz-Clemens Buffaloes starting district play with a bang.

Texas State beats Winthrop to close out Owl Classic

In the Saturday morning finale of the Owl Classic, Texas State reset from its previous loss against Winthrop to drop a 5-0 shutout win on the Eagles. Texas State would finish 4-1 in the tournament and improve to a 16-5 record on the season.

Rattlers rally around each other for 3-game winning streak

San Marcos closed out the Comal Tournament on a high note as the Rattlers finished tournament play on three-game winning streak to improve their record to 5-6-1 overall.
