For the dedicated runner the weather does not prevent them from getting their run in. Most have the proper clothes to wear whether it is cold, rainy, or cold and rainy. For the rest of the running group an indoor alternate is often a welcome choice. While most will allow a good workout there is always a limit to the benefit of getting outdoors for a run. And the type of exercise unit you use has different benefits and disadvantages. Choosing the indoor method of exercise can be the first step in getting a workout. This was a culmination of a historic season for the San Marcos Rattlers Basketball team who set many bench marks during the 2022-2023. Perhaps nothing quite as big as advancing to the Regional Tournament for the first time in 40 years last coming during the 1982-1983 season. Combining with the fact the Rattlers won their first District Championship in over 20 years and breaking the modern day record for most wins in the single season, this makes it our number one story for 2023.
