San Marcos wrapped up tournament play on Saturday during the Katy-Cy Fair Tournament, ending their weekend on a two-game winning streak.
The last time the two teams met, TCU won 56-21 when the Horned Frogs were in the Mountain West and the Bobcats in the Southland Conference.

Texas State will meet TCU for the 2029 season in the just the second ever meeting between the two teams. This will be Texas State's seventh Big 12 opponent played between the 2019 and 2029 seasons.

Texas State dropped their season opening game as the Bobcats lost to the Rice Owls 2-1.
Texas State was the unanimous favorite to win the Sun Belt West Division following the release of the preseason polls. Four Bobcat volleyball players were named to the Preseason All Conference team which is the most on the conference.

The Rattlers captured their first wins of the season as San Marcos participated in the Katy-Cy Fair Tournament in Houston.

In the running circles, it seems that if a person runs a marathon they are then a “dedicated runner.” It doesn’t matter if they only ran one and had a very slow time. The main fact was that they ran a marathon. The percentage of runners that run a marathon was at one time about 15% of the total number of runners. I think it might be a little higher now as runners are now more concerned with running a marathon as a challenge and not worrying that they have to be an Olympic caliber runner to run that distance. Training for a marathon is a very time consuming effort for a runner.
The Texas Smoke defeated the Coastal Bend Tidal Wave 13-4 in game two to win the WPF Championship. The Smoke finish the season with a 31-1 overall record and won their second straight WPF championship.
