Aging Well workshop returning to Price Center

Faculty members from the Alliance of Researchers in Aging (ARIA) at Texas State University will return to the Price Center on February. 16 at 1 p.m. for their second workshop offering on Aging Well. The event is free and open to the public. A reservation is recommended.

County creates Elections Integrity Task Force

This November, voters from across the nation will cast their ballots for the next president of the United States. In a proactive approach to the election, Hays County has created the Elections Integrity Task Force comprised of the Hays County Elections Office, District Attorney’s Office and local law enforcement agencies in an effort to streamline the process for investigating allegations and maximize county resources.

Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra said that the new roadway would be a boon to the local economy in San Marcos.

The Texas Department of Transportation held a ribbon cutting along with state, county and local officials for the culmination of the FM 110 North project that now creates an eastern loop around Interstate 35 in San Marcos.
