After almost five years of waiting for answers to who may have caused one of the most devastating fires in San Marcos history–the arson that destroyed the Iconic Village Apartment, killing five–officials announced Wednesday that an arrest has been made.

Local track star qualifies for AAU Junior Olympics

San Marcos local Jaxon Canady qualified for the AAU Junior Olympics Games Track and Field Competition after placing in the top six of the 800-meter run in the 8 and under division at the AAU Regional Qualifier in Converse, Texas.
