The San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District implemented the School Marshal Program at the beginning of the school year in response to a lack of available School Resource Officers from the city and Texas legislation requiring an armed guard on every school campus. A committee has been formed specifically to evaluate the efficacy of the program throughout time and any viable alternatives, according to district officials. Neighbor’s loud wind chimes have spoiled a quiet street

DEAR ABBY: I’m irritated by my neighbors, and I don’t know quite how to approach it. I live in a densely populated, but quiet, neighborhood. New neighbors moved in a couple of years ago, and after moving in, they hung a wind chime on their front porch. This isn’t your average wind chime. If I had to guess, the chimes are at least five feet long.
