Crockett Elementary received a visit from Yogini, a Portuguese Water Dog, and her handler, Tamara Yates, of Therapy Animals of San Antonio. Students had the opportunity to meet Yogini and read to her during class on Sept. 12. Yogini will visit Crockett for students to read to her throughout the 2023-2024 school year.

Andes has had good interactions with other dogs and has cohabitated with several dogs in kennels. This handsome fawn-colored pup has been at the shelter since late January of 2022, and he is excited to finally head to a forever home!
