Kinne named to Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Watch List

Texas State Head Football coach GJ Kinne, who has guided the Bobcats to their best start in the program’s FBS history in his first year at the helm, has been named to the American Heart Association’s 2023 Paul “Bear” Bryant Coach of the Year Watch List, the organization announced Tuesday.

Bears dominate Austin Royals JV, start district against Hawks

Following their bye week, San Marcos Academy was back on the gridiron as the Bears notched their third victory of the season over the Austin Royals JV team, 49-0.
