If history is an indicator, Texas voters will likely go to the polls on Nov. 2 in underwhelming numbers to decide the fate of eight proposed amendments to the state’s constitution.
Candidates for San Marcos City Council places 5 and 6 expressed their views on various issues during a candidate forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Hays County.

The Hays County Commissioners Court approved the removal of additional early voting locations, citing the need to balance polling places in each of the county’s four precincts, during a special called meeting Friday.
